Welcome Week at UMHB features a variety of academic, physical, spiritual and social activities for new freshman and transfer students and is scheduled the week prior to the fall semester. The activities and programs are designed to help the transfer students become acquainted with the UMHB campus and to help the first time freshman make a successful transition into the college life. On average, 18 upperclassmen work as staff members or as leaders of small groups called Family Groups. These groups stay together throughout the week to help make the transition to UMHB as smooth as possible!
